Predicting:
For each of their matches, players are to predict the half-time AND full-time score of any match in the 3 Conference leagues.
For example:Stevenage V Barrow.
Stevenage HT
Stevenage 2-0 Barrow FT.
These predictions will be e-mailed to this address: tinpotleague@hotmail.co.uk.
Ideally these predictions should be sent by kick-off, of the match concerned.
Anybody not predicting by the time the game kicks-off will automatically score nil.
From those predictions, each player will earn a certain number of 'goals', scored as follows:CORRECT HALF-TIME RESULT (i.e. home lead, away lead or draw) - 1 goal
CORRECT FULL-TIME RESULT (i.e. home win, away win or draw) - 2 goals
CORRECT FULL-TIME HOME GOALS - 1 goal
CORRECT FULL-TIME AWAY GOALS - 1 goal
Players who fail to predict and then draw 0-0 will be given the draw in the league table - but will have the point they earn deducted.
Players level on points will be separated in the league tables by GOALS SCORED first, to reward those with better predictions over the season,
and then goal difference.
If those are the same, players will be ordered according to number of wins - then it'll come down to the result between the players concerned.
Other rules:
In the "subject" heading of your email please state your username and division,
otherwise your email may be returned to you.
This will help the organisers get the results marked quickly and easily.
You have been given a place in this competition, and we expect that you to send your predictions every week.
Failure to do so spoils it for others, and persistent failure will result in your place
being taken by a replacement competitor.
Any other matters will decideded upon by the competition organisers.
