Predicting:
For each of their matches, players are to predict the half-time result AND full-time score of any match in the 3 Blue Square Leagues. 
For example:Luton V Crawley.
Luton HT
Luton 2-0 Crawley FT.
These predictions will be e-mailed to this address: tinpotleague@hotmail.co.uk. 
Your predictions should be sent by the following times...
Predictions on Friday games: By kickoff of that game.
Predictions on Saturday games: By kickoff of that game.
Anybody who has not predicted by those times will automatically score nil. 
Please do not think I will let you predict on a Sunday game because "you forgot". I won't. Ensure they are in on time.
From those predictions, each player will earn a certain number of 'goals'(Out of a possible 5), scored as follows:
CORRECT HALF-TIME RESULT (i.e. home lead, away lead or draw) - 1 goal 
CORRECT FULL-TIME RESULT (i.e. home win, away win or draw) - 2 goals 
CORRECT FULL-TIME HOME GOALS - 1 goal 
CORRECT FULL-TIME AWAY GOALS - 1 goal 

Your score is then marked against your opponents to get your result .

Players who fail to predict and then draw 0-0 will be given the draw in the league table - but will have the point they earn deducted. 
Players level on points will be separated in the league tables by GOALS SCORED first, to reward those with better predictions over the season, 
and then goal difference. 
If those are the same, players will be ordered according to number of wins - then it'll come down to the result between the players concerned. 
 
Other rules:
In the "subject" heading of your email please state your username and division. It is of great help those of us running the leagues.
This will also help the organisers get the results marked quickly and easily.You have been given a place in this competition, and we expect that you to send your predictions every week. 
Failure to do so spoils it for others, and persistent failure (three strikes and you're out) will result in your place being taken by a replacement competitor.
In the event of your predicted game being postponed you will have your prediction marked when the game is replayed, but feel free to send in more than one prediction - up to a MAXIMUM OF THREE (in descending order eg Stortford 6-0 Halifax but if that is off Cambridge 11-0 Braintree, etc) during bad weather.  If fewer than three Conference games take place on the day, all Tinpot fixtures will be postponed.  FOR TINPOT CUP FIXTURES IF YOUR MATCH IS POSTPONED, YOU WILL SCORE ZERO.
Promotion/Relegation: Conf National: 4 relegated
          Conf South & North: Champions and Playoff winners promoted, 3 relegated
          Northern/Isthmian/Southern Premier: Champions and Playoff winner promoted, bottom team relegated
          Dog & Duck League: Top three promoted (no playoffs)

Any other matters will decideded upon by the competition organisers.
